Photography has been in my family since the introduction of the medium. Grand-grandparents of mine were traveling portrait photographers as far back as 1890. My interest in children’s photography came after the birth of my own children. An effort to capture better images of my own children lead to friends and family asking for portraits of their children. It was then that DJ Dysart Photography was born.

Having gone through the hassle of getting “mall portraits” my goal is to be the exact opposite. By doing sessions at your home or location of your choosing, both you and your children are more comfortable. This comfort comes through in the final image. I am not just another person with a fancy camera, I do use both natural light available as well as small portable lights to ensure the highest quality image.
